Summer Camp 2017

Bienvenidos / Welcome!

HoLa Aventuras Summer camp will be held at our elementary school which is located at 123 Jefferson St.

HoLa Aventuras Summer Camp is all set for  a fantastic start! Our campers will enjoy being immersed in Spanish on our weekly ‘trips’ to Latin countries, and their days will be filled with new friends, fun activities, art projects, stem lessons, and, for many, a new language!

Together, campers will explore a different Latin American country each week, taking virtual tours in our classrooms and learning about the specific country and culture through art, poetry, dance, food, and more. Our Camp Leaders (all certified teachers) will be purposefully planning ways to infuse their days with the culture, music, and key targeted vocabulary each week.

For our campers in grades K and up, we will have free swim time at the Sky Club pool on Tuesdays and Thursdays—no swim lessons, just private pool time. There will be lifeguards present, and all of our counselors will also be in the pool; please send your child with a life vest if s/he requires one. There will be no swim time scheduled for Pre-K 4 students, but those campers will have the opportunity to play in the sprinklers at Madison Street Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (As always, if you’d prefer for your older child to just play in the sprinklers both days that is an option as well.)
