Thank you for considering HoLa for your child! HoLa is a free public school open to all Hoboken students. We are currently accepting applications for Kindergarten through 8th grade for the 2018-19 (current) school year, as well as for the 2019-20 (next) school year. Families must submit a separate application for each child interested in attending HoLa.

The lottery for the 2018-19 (current) school year has passed, and all spots have been filled. 

You may submit an application in order to be added to the waitlist for a given grade.

Eligibility

Your child must be five-years old by September 30, 2018 to qualify for Kindergarten.

In order to apply for grades 1 through 8, your child must be grade-eligible, having successfully completed a full year in the immediately preceding grade.

    Step 4: Lottery Qualifications

    HoLa is pleased to announce that we have been approved by the DOE as the 1st charter school to offer a low-income preference in our lottery. HoLa will provide children who receive certain types of public assistance double the chance to get into the school in the lottery. If you believe you qualify for the extra lottery chance, please indicate the qualifying factors below (proof is required by Jan 18, 2017).
